What is all about?

A structured framework to outline in detail all the requirements for an open job position within your company. It helps you define exactly what you’re looking for in candidates and the desired profile you’re seeking.

 

Key components of the template could be:

At the beginning, you should include all details regarding the job title (Position Name), the department in which the role will be, the location of the job, the employment type (e.g., Full-Time, Part-Time, Contract Internship etc.) Then, the following should be mentioned:

Key Responsibilities:

In this section you need to specify the different tasks and goals that the candidate will be responsible for.

Required Qualifications:

In this section you specify mainly technical skills and background details that the candidate should meet to undertake the job (education, skills, experience).

Preferred Qualifications:

In this section, you specify additional skills or experiences that would be beneficial for the position (Additional qualifications that would be advantageous).

Key Competencies:

In this section, you specify the essential skills and abilities required for the position (problem-solving abilities, critical thinking, leadership, time management, adaptability, teamwork, communication).

Benefits and Job Requirements:

In this section, you specify the key benefits that the position offers to potential candidates, as well as the job requirements (e.g. retirement plans, salary packages etc.).

Salary Range:

The goal is to provide candidates with a clear understanding of what they will gain from the position.

Application Instructions:

In this section, you provide clear and detailed instructions on how candidates should apply for the position (e.g. relevant certifications, send a CV via email, submit an application form, and mention the deadline for submission etc.).

In this section, you provide a statement that emphasizes the company’s commitment to equal opportunity in the hiring process. The statement reflects the company’s dedication to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace where all candidates are considered fairly based on their qualifications and abilities.
